Description of the work
They need volunteers that are willing to help with the patient’s well-being. This means you can offer recreation to children by playing with them and also give the child some support to make his stay at the hospital less enduring. You will be in charge of offering incentives, motivation and recreation activities to children and also you can help to bath and feed them along with the nurses. In addition, you could also get involved in English-teaching activities.
If you are interested in working within a particular medical field, you can apply for a type of internship, prior some special procedures (Certificates from your University, letters, etc. required by the Hospital’s directives)
Keep in mind
An advantage is that you have the opportunity to arrange your own timetable but you need to be punctual and dedicated to your work when you first have made an agreement with the association. You will be working with children who are very sensible and wish to recover as soon as possible. You need to be a very kind and affectionate person that are very fond of kids.
Time: 1 week minimum
Your time schedule will be arranged at your first introduction meeting.
