The place is located at San Roque neighborhood in the south of Quito. There is a school for children and also a day-care center, administered by different directors.
The school is named CEDEIB, which is Experimental Center of Intercultural Bilingual Education. Both places have been created with the help of some indigenous associations and the government. Many indigenous people come to the capital to try to find work and it is important to offer bilingual education to the children while their families work. Most children speak quichua in addition to Spanish.
Description of the work

At the CEDEIB you can help by teaching English to children, especially from inferior grades (1st, 2nd, 3rd )
Keep in mind
You will help the English teachers and any suggestions are welcomed. It is important that you are committed and responsible. Children are affectionate and will miss you and feel sad if you don’t show up to work and it is important that you tell with anticipation when you are leaving. Kids bear many necessities.
Time: Minimum 2 months
The school is open from 07:30 to 12:00
You have to organize your schedule according to the school needs.
